You will be part of a mechanical product design team responsible for conceiving, designing and producing exciting new products.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in product design.
• Experience developing parts and assemblies in 3-D CAD.
• Knowledge of plastic and metal part design.
• Knowledge of design cycle from concept to manufacturing.
• Ability to travel internationally (up to 20%).

Nice To Haves

• Masters Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Experience in plastic and metal part design.
• Experience with design cycle from concept to manufacturing.
• High volume mass production experience.
• Experience with FEA for mechanical parts.
• Experience in the areas of: GD&T, Tolerance Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Design of Experiments.
• Innovative thinking, high personal motivation, deep engineering capability.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the mechanical design of Apple’s products.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Industrial Design, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Thermal, Safety, Packaging, Wireless, EMC, and Operations.
