Provides engineering design and support for all aspects of Puck products to ensure functionality, quality, cost, performance, and on time delivery by performing the following duties. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Assists with the development of product design, functionality, and style standards. Placement and review of purchase part models, prints, and necessary documentation into PDM Vault and ensure completeness and documentation integrity. Implement designs within the project schedule and budget parameters. Collaborate with fluid power, electrical and software teams to ensure desired component and system operation to project specifications. Create, maintain, and review CAD models and print documentation that are inclusive of all materials including fasteners, plumbing, wiring, purchase parts, manufactured parts, and assemblies in a manner that reflects Puck manufacturing practices and capabilities. Propose and execute change requests to existing released parts or assemblies to ensure compliance regarding revision changes on released parts or assemblies and make recommendations to team lead and management. Recommend and complete engineering change order forms (ECO) and submit to team lead and management for scheduling. Conduct product test plans post-first article approval to ensure product design meets specifications. Update product specification documentation and project notes with specification updates or design criteria refinements. Provide support to manufacturing engineering to ensure product is properly fabricated and assembled based on the intended functionality of the design. Complete and execute tasks as assigned by team peers Adjust errors. resolve complaints and maintain positive working relationships with peers.
