About The Position
The Product Design Engineer for Acoustics at Apple is responsible for designing and validating custom speaker modules for highly space-constrained products. This role involves leading the mechanical design of speaker module assemblies, collaborating with Transducer Design Engineers and system Product Design Engineers to balance acoustic performance, mechanical design, manufacturing, and reliability. The engineer will create 3D CAD and 2D drawings, manage multiple projects, and ensure high-volume manufacturability of speaker components while pursuing innovative design improvements.
