The DCI team is responsible for supporting our strategy of making data easy to capture, find, understand, and use. The Experience Design team at Capital One is at the forefront of enriching our customers’ digital and physical experiences and we are passionate about creating memorable, meaningful product experiences that build the Capital One brand with humanity and drive business advantage and innovation. We champion a thriving environment of collaboration, authenticity and healthy critique, in which we honor diversity of thought, create a culture of belonging, and elevate one another. If you’re a creative innovator who embraces an environment where you can experiment, learn, and change banking for good, we’d love to hear from you. You will help inform and support our adoption of AI-driven design processes and tooling across the product development life cycle. The Director role will foster alignment across three dimensions: Expanding and Optimizing a Next-Generation Cloud Data Platform Migrating, scaling, and managing the company's central cloud-based data platform to ensure it is the single, secure, and highly-performant source of truth for all analytical and shared data. Scaling a Data-as-a-Product Operating Model Driving adoption and scale for high-quality, well-governed Data Products. This work is about treating internal data as an employee-facing product to dramatically improve its reliability, standardization, and ease of use, with the goal of making it the preferred method for the majority of data consumption. Driving Data Discovery and Insights through AI-Powered Experiences Designing and launching intelligent, conversational, and personalized user experiences that leverage AI/Machine Learning to accelerate data discovery and analysis. This includes developing advanced search capabilities and orchestrating analytical tooling that allow users to find, understand, and utilize data faster and more effectively.
