About The Position

The Product Delivery Professional supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) under the IRES contract. The selected candidate will join the C2BMC Test Facility Transformation Team and be instrumental in rapid strategic planning, execution, and closure of critical transformation efforts. This role involves extensive collaboration with various teams to ensure consistency in integration and supports the full life-cycle of IT and infrastructure for missile defense C2BMC integration and testing. The candidate will: • Support the Transformation Team in quick turn upfront planning, executing, and closure of transformation efforts • Collaborate with other teams for overall consistency in integrated tasks • Support complete life-cycle activities associated with various information technology and infrastructure-oriented transformation assignments in support of missile defense C2BMC integration and testing. • Have work requirements that include planning, cost estimation and proposal development • Integrated schedule and risk management • Requirements and design management • Procurement management • Scope management • Technical execution • Issue resolution and stakeholder management • Monitoring and control, verification and closeout This position will perform the following actions: • Develop, deliver, and brief weekly presentations to Government Director and brief stakeholders at key review milestones • Coordinate and conduct status updates with System Engineering Technical Advisor and key stakeholders • Communicate complex initiatives between internal teams, external stakeholders, and Government Director • Provide Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership throughout the transformation effort cycle • Coordinate/manage development and implementation activities among several internal and external organizations • Set and continually manage transformation expectations with team members and stakeholders • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the transformation team • Identify and manage transformation dependencies and critical path • Track transformation milestones and deliverables • Earned value management • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, budgetary estimates, requirements documentation and presentations • Proactively manage changes in transformation scope, identify potential risks and devise contingency plans • Define transformation success criteria and disseminate to involved parties throughout the transformation efforts cycle • Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the transformation efforts and team. Requirements

  • Must have 8, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience o May be reduced with completion of advanced education
  • Must have 5, or more, years of directly related experience
  • Must be proficient with MS Office applications (including Project & Visio)
  • Must have experience with project management processes and tools supporting requirements, design, implementation, and closeout to successfully manage several (8+) efforts simultaneously using industry accepted project management practices.
  • Must have experience planning for, identifying and managing project risks.
  • Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Have experience with strategic and theater missile defense weapon systems, sensor systems, DoD communications systems, and C2BMC communication environments
  • Have Control Account Manager experience
  • Have an active Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
