About the jobSUMMARY Establishes, coordinates, and maintains all supplier and purchased part costing activities and measures results. Your tasksESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES • Ensures supplier costs are correct and updated in a timely manner including contacting suppliers regarding discrepancies. • Analyzes and creates supplier cost uploads. • Develops supplier cost upload schedules ensuring system updates are correct and timely. • Inputs non-scheduled supplier costs adjustments and updates all affected open purchase orders. • Prepares reports tracking supplier costs changes. • Ensures proper unit of measure settings are utilized for purchased parts providing for inventory valuation and customer billing accuracy. • Collects and analyzes data for the purchasing department and create subsequent reporting of departmental KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis. • Ensures source selection is correct within territory guidelines set by OEMs. • Analyzes sales history across the company to determine the appropriate stocking levels for all parts. • Creates an upload to set the order points for all warehouse parts based on sales history analysis. • Coordinates with the appropriate department(s) and/or person(s) to ensure customer requests and/or needs is met. • Pulls, processes, and/or reviews daily reports as necessary. • Assists in the part set up and verification process. • Reliable attendance is a must. • Other duties assigned. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. • Intermediate Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. • Computer Skills - (Word, Excel, Access) EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field; • Minimum two years’ prior related work experience and/or training; • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
