About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Product Data Management Engineer to join the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Capability in Oklahoma City, OK. This role is 100% onsite and involves creating engineering documentation, technical writing, and performing metric coordination tasks to meet business objectives. The engineer will develop and maintain Metrics dashboards, apply standard methods and algorithms, and validate results. Key aspects of the role include developing strategic partnerships, exercising critical thinking, innovative problem-solving, and acting as an initial point of escalation for team issues. The position also requires developing and executing project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures, setting operational goals, and serving as an engineering corrective action review board representative. Collaboration with other teams and effective communication with all project stakeholders are essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 3 or more years of related experience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and all levels of leadership
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

  • Proficient knowledge of principles, standards, and processes, such as described in ANSI/EIA-649 and/or MIL-HDBK 62, Configuration Management Standard.
