RH is seeking a Product Craftsperson to bring these designs to life, crafting exquisite, high-end residential furniture with unmatched precision and artistry under the guidance of our Operations Leader. This role is based in our Joseph Jeup manufacturing location in Grand Rapids, MI.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in a wood related field
- Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting written information, including engineering drawings
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience
- Adjust to changing conditions and situations quickly
- Prioritize responsibilities, organize tasks and follow through to completion
- Demonstrate integrity by being accountable for actions and keeping commitments
- Consistently work to improve self, processes, and procedures
- Continuously pursue excellence through attention to detail, dedication to superior quality, continuous improvement, and passion for the product
Responsibilities
- Utilize engineering drawings, routing and bill of materials as specified to build each client order
- Ensure weekly execution of production schedule while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Use a wide range of craft and technology to complete projects, including but not limited to the following: edge banding, wide belt sanding, machining.boring, curved plywood manufacturing, jointing, sanding and assembly
- Create and maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
