The Product Cost Analyst works under the Director of Production Control to analyze product costs in SAP to provide and ensure product cost data is correct. This position will ensure the product cost tables for standard products are populated and correctly up to date. They would also be responsible for monitoring cost variances and recommending optimization strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Data Analyst or a related field
• Manufacturing industry and SAP experience are preferred
• 2 years' minimum experience working in Manufacturing or related field

Responsibilities

• Utilize SAP tools to provide costs for products at the shippable assembly level.
• Compile product costs into database for multiple configurations for estimation of projects.
• Analyze cost data to find errors or areas that are not in line with expectations.
• Ability to understand product specification manuals and product drawings.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex cost-related issues.
• Strong understanding of product costing principles, financial analysis, and relevant software.
• Experience with cost modeling and data analysis software.
• Ability to work effectively with different departments and teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings and recommendations to management.
• Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and interpret financial information.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial data and reports.
• Basic understanding of cost analysis and financial reporting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with product cost management principles and techniques.
