About The Position

The Product Coordinator provides support for Ravago International business by managing the flow of product from the supplier purchase through receipt of material to the Warehouse. This requires a high level of attention to detail and proactivity in order to maintain the system up to date and the product/information flowing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years related business experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Exposure to E-Commerce and the Internet is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Good multitasking abilities
• Proactive approach and accountability

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual - Spanish or Portuguese is a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchase order entry and follow-up
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers at multiple levels
• Update purchase information into ERP system (dates, weights, railcar information, and product information) to ensure accurate reporting information needed by Product Managers for product availability decisions
• Send Inbound notification and packaging instructions to warehouses for all incoming purchased material
• Monitor established KPI's on a daily basis using reporting tools to proactively identify potential issues with orders
• Communicate with A/P to coordinate payments for Cash in Advance and Cash Against Documents purchases
• Assist Accounts Payable with A/P differences
• Investigate and process Claims related to Supplier invoices
• Maintain proper records of each purchase transaction
• Responsible for the setup of new vendors and new grades
• Manage claim creation, submittal, and resolution resulting from non-performance issues by the Warehouses
• Promote cross-training with other team members to enable business continuity
• Participate in backup and load balancing process among members of the Product Coordinator team during high workload periods
• Foment and maintain a cohesive team environment in the Product Coordinator team
• Perform all other duties as assigned
