As a Designer on the Essentials & Beauty, Pet Accessories team, you’ll create trend forward, functional and emotionally resonant products across categories including Toys, Feeding, Bedding, Walk, Accessories, Apparel and Supplies spanning everyday, seasonal, and trend collections. If you are solution-centric, energized by complex problems, and excited to explore and experiment with new tools, technologies you’ll thrive on our team. We are design-obsessed and exploratory by nature, driving the concepting and development of Target-Owned Brands in Pet Accessories. In close partnership with merchant and sourcing teams, you’ll ensure all Owned Brand products align to growth strategies, line plans, price points, and the overall creative direction. We are looking for key strengths in following: Creating brand-relevant and research-backed trend concepts Translating insights into distinct, ownable product lines Designing unique products through thoughtful form language and material innovation Leveraging diverse intelligence – culture, consumer, market, data, and technology – to identify opportunities Exploring and adopting new tools, including digital design, AI-enabled workflows, rapid prototyping and 3D visualization Managing work independently across multiple projects and timelines Building strong cross-functional partnerships and fostering a collaborative environment Under the guidance of Design leadership, you will independently own a category, brand, business, or guest segment.
