About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in Fort Worth for a Systems Engineer supporting the Joint Strike Fighter program. As a hire on our Systems Engineering team, you can help us take on the world's most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. In this important role, you will collaborate with a team of technical professionals and interact with outside customers. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking. As a member of our Systems Engineering team, you will: Support the Regulatory Compliance Engineering team efforts, by managing the Conformité Européene (CE) Certification documents of a number of F-35 Support Equipment, Training Systems and other Lockheed Martin products.. Leverage Model Based System Engineering (MBSE), Next Gen Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS), Microsoft office software tools. Perform hardware troubleshooting during CE Mark compliance testing. Support and provide guidance on CE Mark regulations to other Integrated Product Teams (IPT), Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, LM Vendors, LM Buyers, and upper Management. Interact with team across different IPTs to identify and highlight CE regulations risks and mitigations. Note: This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. The role is located at a facility that requires special access. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in testing of electronic equipment or Lab support
  • 1+ years of using MBSE tools and techniques
  • Must be able to independently lift and carry test equipment weighing up to 50 lb (≈ 23 kg) up to three or four times per week for short durations (≤ 2 minutes per lift) and manually position, set up, or remove it on tables, racks, or vehicle platforms while adhering to safe handling practices and proper body mechanics.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years experience with CE Mark compliance
  • testing with focus in Electro-Magnetic Interference/Electro-Magnetic Compatibility testing and product safety evaluations
  • Electrical engineering background
  • Experience performing Atmospheres Explosible Directive (ATEX) evaluations
  • Radio Frequency (RF) Testing Experience
  • Deep understanding of CE, FCC, DO-160, and
  • MIL STD-461 testing
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment
  • Experience in Qualification Testing Document

  • Experience executing work under quality
