Product Compliance Engineer - Systems
About The Position
Apple's Environmental Technologies team is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Product Compliance Engineer for systems to drive critical software tools for Apple's environmental compliance efforts, supporting its Full Material Disclosure ecosystem and managing vital compliance tracking systems. In this role you will scope features and requirements, and guide business analysts in generating detailed user and system requirements. This role requires close partnership with a diverse set of stakeholders providing user and system requirements, and collaborating with software development leads to bridge non-technical asks to new features and capabilities, enabling Apple to achieve its environmental goals.This position is offered in Apple's Environmental Technologies group within Apple's Hardware Engineering division. Our mission is to deliver world-leading compliance tools to drive address the impacts of climate change, conserve resources, and utilize safer materials in our products. As a Systems Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for driving a key part of Apple's compliance ecosystem. Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in a relevant technical or environmental field
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Familiar with chemical reporting frameworks and pertinent regulations (SCIP, RoHS, REACH)
- Experience within the consumer electronics industry
