About The Position

USABlueBook (a division of HD SUPPLY) is the recognized source of products and technical support for professional water and wastewater operators. As the company founded by utility operators, it is our goal to remain the industry’s top technical and customer service leader. The position is responsible for executing to the financial objectives for a product category or categories, implementing the operational plan, and working with key merchandising and field resources to drive item selection and pricing. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of management experience and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 4 days in the office.

Requirements

• 5+ years of management experience preferred.
• Water/Wastewater experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Must be able to pass a background/drug test.
• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Certification may be required.
• Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Executes to the financial targets for a category and influences assortment guidelines and parameters.
• Executes pricing strategy.
• Researches new product lines and shops for competitive prices.
• Influences supplier strategy and executes the supplier portfolio.
• Makes decisions regarding visual representation of the product lines in all marketing material including catalogs.
• Collaborates with purchasing and operations on forecasting and supply chain set-up for all merchandising fixtures for current and new programs.
• Supports the business review process.
• Influences which items to send to product line review; when new products should be included in the assortment mix.
• Leverages supplier relationships to optimize assortment.
• Utilizes knowledge of key business drivers for a category/categories to support category sales growth.
