About The Position

As a Product Assurance intern, you will be a part of a team delivering solutions for test lab customers that seek to streamline the way Allegion does business. Working on a team that works in creative and efficient ways, you will learn to think outside of the box, deploy testing solutions, and follow best practices of both the software engineering and security industry.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant engineering technology discipline, e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, etc.
• Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.
• An inquisitive nature that seeks to understand concepts and principles about the Allegion business practices.
• Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques.
• A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion’s business and customers.
• Ability to work on site 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Deepen your understanding of new product development and an engineered to order business.
• Participate in development discussions and implement solutions on real projects.
• Work with a team to validate prototype products.
• Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion.
