About The Position

As a Product Analyst supporting a financial services client, you will play a central role in shaping, developing, and executing product strategy within a complex and fast-moving environment. This position blends strategic ownership with hands-on product development, requiring an individual who can collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and lead components of the product life cycle end-to-end. You will use customer insights, data, and research to uncover opportunities, define product requirements, and drive impactful product enhancements.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in product management, project management, or a relevant domain area
  • Experience writing user stories, requirements, and product documentation
  • Solid understanding of the product development life cycle, including discovery, requirements definition, and agile product practices
  • Proficient knowledge of data analytics and strong data literacy; ability to interpret metrics to inform decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional, matrixed environments
  • Strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Background in a highly matrixed or complex organizational environment
  • Experience facilitating user research or partnering with research/UX teams
  • Familiarity with strategic product planning frameworks and backlog management tools

Responsibilities

  • Support and contribute to the development of the product strategy, vision, and roadmap that align with customer needs and business objectives
  • Conduct and participate in discovery efforts, including user research, customer interviews, journey mapping, and market analysis to identify new opportunities and inform product decisions
  • Assess upstream and downstream implications of feature development to ensure cohesive product experiences
  • Write and refine product requirements, epics, and user stories that clearly articulate customer value and workflow expectations
  • Maintain and contribute to the product backlog, ensuring prioritization reflects strategic goals and delivers incremental value
  • Participate in product planning sessions and collaborate closely with engineering, design, operations, and other partners to support successful and timely product delivery
  • Provide insights and help guide execution throughout the product development lifecycle, from ideation through launch
  • Collect, analyze, and leverage product performance metrics to inform decision-making and track key success indicators such as cost, quality, reliability, and feature adoption
