About The Position

THE POSITION Our roster has an opening with your name on it FanDuel is looking to add a Product Analyst to join our Core Products team. You will be driving business results and product decisions with accurate, timely, and actionable insights. You will be a data evangelist and a champion of innovation, experimentation, and insights, ensuring we’re positioned to capitalize on opportunities as they arise. This role sits on the Product Analytics & Experimentation team and will collaborate with multiple departments within the company including, but not limited to Product, Commercial, Payments, Engineering, Data Science, Customer Service and Responsible Gaming. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive strategic value at FanDuel. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs. THE GAME PLAN Everyone on our team has a part to play You will be highly-skilled in product and business analytics, know how to lead experimentation initiatives and contribute to product strategy decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably within product or digital analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficient in SQL, with experience writing complex queries.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods (e.g., t-tests, chi-square, regression analysis).
  • An excellent understanding of product analytics and the latest techniques in measuring customer experience and app performance.
  • Experience with A/B testing & Experimentation methodologies and tools. Amplitude Experiment preferred
  • Proven track record in the implementation of analytics and measurement solutions in a digital ecosystem
  • Significant experience building intuitive and impactful data visualizations that drive business decisions (e.g., with Databricks, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, Adobe, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills. Able to influence decision makers at all levels with data-driven insights.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a very fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Understanding of business priorities and ability to work to meet them.
  • High level of personal initiative and motivation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Amplitude Analytics and Databricks is highly preferred. (Other product analytics toolsets are acceptable)
  • Experience with languages such as R and Python is preferred.

  • Demonstrate analytics excellence, innovating in how we access, analyze, and share insights and define success
  • Provide support to product leaders and pro-actively partner to leverage customer insights to drive product decisions.
  • Be an authority for customer behavioral data; using data to shape our understanding of customer behavior & business performance.
  • Become a data evangelist in the organization and facilitate the democratization of data across all teams.
  • Design and lead complex cross-functional experimentation initiatives.
  • Drive velocity and impact of experiments with product teams.
