The Product Analyst III serves as a vital link between our business stakeholders and the technical development team. In this role, you will support the Product Owner by managing the day-to-day health of our sales technology backlog. You will focus on optimizing the tools our Loan Officers and Consumer Direct teams use to engage borrowers. This is an ideal role for an analyst with a strong Agile foundation who is looking to grow into a Product Management career within the mortgage industry.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in product analysis, business analysis, or a related technical role within an Agile environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in Mortgage Originations, specifically working with Consumer Direct sales or Retail Loan Officers, is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to LOS (e.g., Encompass, Empower) or POS (e.g., Blend, BeSmartee) platforms is a significant advantage.
  • Highly proficient in G-Suite (Sheets, Docs); experience with SQL or BI Tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deconstruct complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories and technical requirements. Ensure the "Definition of Ready" is met for the development team.
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for the Consumer Direct sales floor, troubleshooting system issues and identifying opportunities to streamline the Point of Sale (POS) experience.
  • Manage and groom the team backlog. Lead or co-facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) to ensure the team remains focused on high-priority deliverables.
  • Create detailed process maps and workflow diagrams that illustrate how data flows from lead providers into the Loan Origination System (LOS).
  • Develop test cases and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business subject matter experts to ensure features function correctly before production deployment.
  • Maintain the "source of truth" documentation for system features, ensuring training materials for Loan Officers are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Use G-Suite and BI tools to monitor feature adoption and system performance metrics.
