Reporting to the Product Manager, Payment Accuracy Content Team, the Senior Product Analyst will join a highly collaborative innovation team dedicated to advancing payment accuracy solutions that improve the healthcare lifecycle. In this role, you will act as an analytical and strategic partner between technology and business teams, serving as a subject matter expert and liaison to customers and users. You will contribute to product vision, discovery, and development, lead research and documentation efforts, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations for new product solutions and enhancements. By partnering with and providing input to the agile delivery team, you will help shape product strategy and ensure solutions are viable, scalable, measurable and successful.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer/data science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in product, business, or data analysis roles, ideally within healthcare technology.
  • Experience with healthcare administrative and payment systems.
  • Technical acumen with the ability to gather, describe, and document product requirements.
  • Familiarity with modern technology architectures, databases, data platforms, and analytics.
  • Advanced analytical skills; proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Amazon Quicksight a plus).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, requirement gathering, and writing user stories.
  • Experience with ANSI and X12 transactions; tools like Jira and Confluence.

Nice To Haves

  • Health IT, Fintech, or start-up environment experience.
  • Experience on payer or provider side of healthcare technology.
  • Demonstrated experience with creating new product solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively providing input toward new and existing product solutions, incorporating a strong understanding of product vision, strategy, and customer needs.
  • Applying customer-centric and design thinking tools to gather insights and guide teams in delivering impactful solutions.
  • Identifying, researching, defining, and documenting recommendations and requirements for new product solutions and enhancements.
  • Writing business requirements, developing use cases, and preparing detailed documentation.
  • Developing and monitoring dashboards to track product performance and success, identifying trends, and linking insights to actionable business decisions.
  • Organizing and managing team and client-facing documentation.
  • Reviewing test cases, participating in internal and client testing, and supporting analytics/reporting for new and existing products.
  • Investigating and analyzing client requests and defects and making recommendations for implementation or resolution.
