About The Position

The Product Analyst I, US Wealth is expected to support product management in completing both strategic and tactical initiatives related to the ongoing development and support of the TD Wealth Products & Platforms. This includes but is not limited to Advisory, Brokerage, Financial Planning, and Insurance & Annuity businesses. Primary areas of focus include data gathering and translation to support new product evaluation; carrying out process improvement and initiatives from requirement definition to implementation; working with various business groups to identify opportunities for process improvement; assisting with sponsor and strategy launches; maintaining and improving relationships. Depth & Scope: Works with large amounts of data, facts, figures, number crunching and analyze it and make recommendations in improving the business Evaluates product metrics, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings Presents findings or translate the data into an understandable documents and business cases Responsible for monthly reporting by business line Breaks down cost and profitability analysis Supports internal procedures and processes required to maintaining daily account activity Performs workflow & business analysis resulting in operational procedures to meet business needs Assists in analyzing new business opportunities to assess effects on workflow May assist in business plans leveraging Acquisition and Segments teams to increase new account growth and track P&L impact

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years related experience required
  • Experience with relational database structures
  • Knowledge of coding languages (Visual Basic or SQL)
  • Knowledge of reporting tools (Business Objects, SAS)
  • MS Office
  • Basic financial modeling skills
  • Basic knowledge of banking product attributes as well as operational understanding of business areas supported
  • Above average communication skills
  • Understanding of database structure with a minimum of basic programming skills
  • Ability to work independently on task-oriented assignments by the due dates assigned
  • PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite (strong Access & Excel skills a must) with an understanding of database design and troubleshooting
