About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Product Acceptance Specialist Team Lead (Level C) to work in Midbody Cell 10 in North Charleston, South Carolina, on the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team across various statements and positions. Key tasks for the Team Lead include pre-shift planning, conducting crew meetings, providing team status updates, managing labor loss, overseeing production control, facilitating training, driving process improvement, and ensuring compliance. The role requires knowledge of structures, systems, interiors, and some test functions. This is an entirely onsite position, and candidates must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 to meet export control compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Quality experience
  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating leadership skills either informal or formal
  • Must attain and/or maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift
  • Knowledge of structures, systems, interiors, and some test functions
  • Must meet export control compliance requirements as a “U.S. Person” (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Responsibilities

  • Lead team in multiple statements through all positions

  • Validate work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies, and procedures
  • Identify and document discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items
  • Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
  • Conduct product review with customer during product or process verification
  • Identify repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiate requests for corrective action
