About The Position

SWBC is seeking a talented individual to provide leadership, training, supervision and delegation of the day-to-day administration of various operations for the mortgage lending branch office to include lending, product sales and customer service. This role promotes the sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and maintaining staff motivation to achieve personal and branch sales goals through new business sales and referrals. The Producing Branch Manager provides a superior level of customer relations to maintain retention of account relationships. Why you’ll love this role: In this role, you will be responsible for managing one main branch office and possibly one or more satellite branches, as well as personally selling SWBC mortgage loan production to residential mortgage customers to achieve personal and branch sales goals. Being able to motivate staff and provide coaching and guidance while uphold the highest level of customer service is key for achieving optimal performance and being successful in this role.

Requirements

  • Some college courses in Business, Marketing, related courses, or equivalent mortgage experience.
  • Applicable state licensing exams or continuing education courses.
  • Minimum five (5) years of mortgage lending, originating, or related experience in which sound judgment was exercised under moderate supervision.
  • Minimum two (2) years of supervisory and/or training experience.
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Able to operate personal computers and applications to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to operate general office equipment such as multi-line phone systems, copy, scan, and fax machines.
  • Able to work under sometimes stressful conditions while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Able to sit for long periods of time gathering, updating, and validating mortgage loan applications and other documents.
  • Able to lift 20-40 lbs. of stationary, paper products, equipment, or supplies.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, push, or pull equipment or machinery needing servicing or replacement.
  • Able to travel locally and nationally.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the staff and activities involved in the administration and efficient daily operations of mortgage lending branch offices to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to include maintaining staffing levels to adequately meet customer service goals; maintaining work schedules; coaching, counseling and disciplining; resolving personnel related issues; and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Develops and implement branch mortgage sales and profitability plans.
  • Responsible for producing personal loan volume at or above target expectations
  • Oversees branch financial management.
  • Communicates effectively with Senior Management by sharing information on effective practices.
  • Provides training, coaching, development and motivation for branch employees.
