About The Position

This position is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the Shea Mortgage North Carolina and South Carolina Production Branch Team and will provide strategic support to the Carolina Family Shea Homes Division for all homebuyer financing related needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; College Degree Preferred.
• 1-3 years of Mortgage Experience in a Management Position Preferred. Origination Experience Required.
• South & North Carolina MLO License & NMLS Endorsement necessary. Those without may still apply but licenses would need to be obtained for position.
• Experience in New Home Industry Preferred.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Proven Track Record in Providing Exceptional Service to Internal and External Customers.
• Energetic and Enthusiastic.
• Experience in Encompass Origination System Preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Condo Guidelines preferred.
• Experience in New Home Industry Preferred.
• Experience in Encompass Origination System Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and Training of Shea Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Recruitment for New Employees.
• Provide Training for Shea Homes Sales Team (Mortgage Related).
• Oversight of all Escrow Status Weekly and Monthly Calls/Meetings (internally with SM and with Shea Homes).
• Participation/Attendance in Shea Homes Senior Staff Meetings and Shea Homes Sales Meetings.
• Ensure Timely Closings for Shea Homes Buyers through Efficient Processes.
• Knowledge of Condo Guidelines preferred.
• Knowledge of Loan Programs and Guidelines is Imperative. Jumbo, FHA, VA & Conv.
• Ability to Solve Customer Service Issues Quickly and Successfully.
• Develop and Facilitate Homebuyer Financing Presentations.
• Provide Origination Coverage when Team is Out of Office and as Volume Dictates.
• Proactively Deal with All Issues that Arise.
• Ensure Branch Compliance.
• Must have South Carolina & North Carolina MLO License & NMLS Endorsements.
• Personal Production Required. Volume to be determined by EVP/SVP in Region.
