Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive. Your New Role… CNN seeks a temporary Producer to join the team of State of the Union with Jake Tapper & Dana Bash! Your Role Accountabilities… Must be able work a weekend schedule or extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require. This person must have exceptionally strong news judgment and a demonstrated interest in politics and public affairs with a particular strength in high-profile interview writing. The Producer will help generate unique angles and creative guest ideas for Sunday's program and write rigorous questions for the anchor. We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and flexible candidate with strong multi-tasking skills for our live program. This person will also help to grow the show's digital footprint. Your Qualifications & Experience… 3+ years of news production or related experience A bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience. Control room experience required. Experience in show production and script review Live line producing and experience handling breaking news, a proven ability to work well under pressure and deadline. Strong writing and production skills Outstanding judgment, critical and strategic thinking, organization skills, and an ability to be persistent yet diplomatic. Field and tape producing experience strongly suggested. Additional Information On June 9, 2025, Warner Bros.
