About The Position

The creative talents across the Global Design Center (GDC) organization work hard to deliver design excellence through the various initiatives across Sony Interactive Entertainment. Team members work together on a wide range of products, services, research, and forward thinking initiatives. As a Producer in the GDC Strategy Office, our goal is to make PlayStation the best place to Design and Create. Through team collaboration, we work hard to scale and enable our teams to be more efficient, productive and optimized. Producers will work with a diversified team to deliver projects across and adjacent to our core business.

Requirements

  • A motivated self-starter with a strong understanding of user-centered design practices and product life cycle.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguous environments.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.
  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to make timely decisions.
  • Ability to proactively provide solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Previous experience utilizing agile methodologies and principles.
  • Excel in conflict resolution, negotiation, and people management.
  • At least 3-5 years working in the technology and games industries.
  • Comfortable working with the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence), MS Office 360, Figma, Smartsheet, MIRO, and other project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and rollout efficient processes and clear documentation.
  • Partner with the Project Leads to capacity plan and identify and communicate resource gaps.
  • Drive clear proactive communications between all groups involved with project initiatives.
  • Stay aligned with the project vision, strategy & roadmap to support the successful implementation of cross-platform initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the Lead Producer and contribute to Program communications.
  • Exhibits leadership skills by advocating standards, anticipating future problems and issues, and seeks to improve processes and tools for the program to cultivate a fun, positive, and solution-focused team culture.
  • Collate, distill and communicate key information with Design, Research, Engineering and Product teams to ensure project stakeholders receive the data needed to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently to drive impact and capable of working through ambiguity.
  • Oversee multiple projects throughout the program lifecycle.
