About The Position

As a Producer, Events, you are responsible for the strategy, planning, execution, and post-event evaluation of high-impact corporate experiences and external events. This role is the heartbeat of our internal and external brand-aligned moments. You will produce employee engagement programming, onsite events and external activations through managing high-visibility initiatives, including Executive and Board of Director meetings, Rivian flagship moments, and key stakeholder engagements such as Investor Relations, Product Communications, Media, Suppliers, and Policy. The ideal candidate is a strategic producer with exceptional attention to detail, a strong executive presence, and a calm, solutions-oriented approach to live environments. You are accountable for creating polished, inclusive, and memorable experiences that build Rivian’s culture, engage leadership, and reflect our standards of excellence.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record in high-stakes event production, preferably within a fast-paced tech, automotive, or lifestyle brand environment.
  • Adaptability: You thrive in rapidly changing settings and demonstrate sound judgment when making real-time decisions.
  • Executive Presence: Ability to interact confidently and professionally with C-suite leadership and external VIPs.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment: Lead the development of event briefs in partnership with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives, core messaging, and brand standards.
  • Portfolio Management: Plan and produce a diverse portfolio including company-wide events, Board of Directors gatherings, Investor Relations events, and Product Comms/Media initiatives.
  • Partnership Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for venues, vendors, agencies, production partners, and internal teams.
  • Financial Oversight: Own event budgets, including forecasting, vendor onboarding, and financial reconciliation.
  • Project Documentation: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and technical documentation (Run of Show, staffing plans, production schedules, and risk assessments).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with external partners and Executive Leadership, Communications, Legal, Finance, Facilities, and IT to ensure holistic event success.
  • Onsite Production: Lead all onsite logistics for internal and external audiences, managing setup, rehearsals, live execution, and breakdown.
  • Technical Management: Oversee staging, AV, and technology systems to ensure a flawless technical experience.
  • Executive Support: Support leadership with rehearsals and live-stage management.
  • Team Leadership: Train and oversee onsite staff and vendors to ensure adherence to Rivian’s brand and security standards.
  • Real-Time Decision Making: Act as an onsite decision-maker, resolving challenges quickly, discreetly, and professionally.
  • Travel: Ability to travel as needed to lead and support events across various Rivian locations.
  • Feedback Loops: Gather feedback from employees and stakeholders to assess event effectiveness and engagement.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare post-event recaps outlining outcomes, data-driven insights, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share best practices with cross-functional partners to enhance future programming.
  • Scalability: Contribute to annual planning cycles to improve the efficiency and impact of Rivian’s corporate events.
