About the position

As a Producer, Entertainment for a live, daily reality TV talk radio show, you will cover the latest reality TV and pop culture shows, news, and trending topics. A self-starter who has a passion for and extensive knowledge of reality TV, you'll roll up your sleeves and dive into all aspects of the show, from crafting creative ideas and show segments to editing audio and developing ideas for audio production pieces. You'll work closely with show talent, living and breathing all aspects of the reality TV zeitgeist.

Responsibilities

  • Have an overall vision for the show, working with the channel's director and hosts to craft an entertaining and compelling audio product.
  • Be the keeper of the show's schedule including guest bookings, tape schedule and host availability.
  • Pitch creative ideas daily, including show segment ideas, topics, audio production pieces, caller segments, and live events.
  • Provide comprehensive research, questions, and full show prep packet for show's host/s.
  • Provide on-the-fly feedback and research as required during the live show.
  • Post creative content on channel's social media accounts to promote the show.
  • Work with PR and digital teams to identify compelling moments and clips to create audiograms and video clips.
  • Work on ideas for show production elements and promos for the audio production team to create.
  • Identify, edit, and load sounders and audio clips for use in-show.
  • Edit and load taped shows, best of shows and specials.
  • Screen listener phone calls during the show.
  • Perform post-production duties including audio editing, posting the show on the app, and other pertinent duties.
  • Work with the company's support teams (sales, traffic, PR, marketing, talent, events, promotions, digital and others) as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in radio, podcast, or audio production.
  • Ability to work under pressure with high profile talent.
  • Must have a strong passion and knowledge of all things reality TV and pop culture.
  • Audio editing experience (ex. Adobe Audition).
  • Impeccable attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Be a great communicator.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $55,000 to $67,000 depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
  • Eligibility for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
