About The Position

Audacy Kansas City is looking for a Part Time Producer/Board Operator for 96.5 The Fan. This position will fill in on nighttime shows, main dayparts and specialized programming throughout the year. Other duties will include on-air responsibilities, social media & sales. We are always searching for talented individuals who are passionate about joining our dynamic team. Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years producing radio show
• Must be computer literate; requires creative approach and ability to prioritize
• Knowledge of the broadcast area and station demographics is essential
• 4 year degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDs according to program and commercial logs
• Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations
• Scheduling guests and live interviews
• Researching broadcast topics
• Assisting in the development of on-air promotions
• Providing creative input on broadcast elements
• Contributing to social networking and website updates
• May be required to perform light production work
• Other duties as required by management
