About The Position

Audacy Kansas City is looking for a Part Time Producer/Board Operator for 96.5 The Fan. This position will fill in on nighttime shows, main dayparts and specialized programming throughout the year. Other duties will include on-air responsibilities, social media & sales. This is a pipeline posting. We are always on the lookout for exceptional talent to join our dynamic team. Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years producing radio show.
• Must be computer literate; requires creative approach and ability to prioritize.
• Knowledge of the broadcast area and station demographics is essential

Nice To Haves

• 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDs according to program and commercial logs
• Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
• Scheduling guests and live interviews.
• Researching broadcast topics.
• Assisting in the development of on-air promotions.
• Providing creative input on broadcast elements.
• Contributing to social networking and website updates.
• May be required to perform light production work
• Other duties as required by management.
