About The Position

We are currently seeking a motivated, hands-on Grocery Supervisor. This full-time hourly position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the grocery department. The Grocery Supervisor will assist in overseeing daily activities, supporting associates, maintaining inventory and merchandising standards, and delivering outstanding customer service. This position reports directly to the Grocery Manager. Balducci’s is a specialty food retailer committed to offering premium quality products and exceptional customer service. Requirements

Previous grocery or retail supervisory experience preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Customer-focused with a passion for delivering outstanding service
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Support the Grocery Manager in daily operations of the grocery department
Supervise and train grocery team members, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
Maintain in-stock levels through accurate ordering and inventory control
Uphold merchandising standards, including signage, pricing, and cleanliness
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner
Monitor product freshness, rotation, and quality
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
Lead by example in fostering a positive, team-oriented environment
