About The Position

Produce Associates are responsible for stocking and displaying produce items in retail stores. They maintain the quality and freshness of fruits and vegetables, rotate products, and provide customer service. Additionally, they may answer customer questions, restock shelves, and help with ordering and receiving inventory. Role Purpose The purpose of a Produce Associate is to provide excellent customer service while stocking and selling a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. They are also responsible for keeping the produce area clean and organized, rotating produce to ensure quality, and cutting and packaging produce as necessary. The Produce Associate must also provide accurate and up-to-date information on types and varieties of produce, pricing, and special offers. By providing a high level of service and knowledge, the Produce Associate ensures customer satisfaction and contributes to the success of the store. Produce Associate Summary The Produce Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service while stocking, organizing, and maintaining the produce department. The Associate will ensure that the department is well-stocked, organized, and clean at all times. The Associate will also assist customers in selecting and purchasing produce items and answering any questions they may have. The Associate must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must.
