About The Position

The Produce Receiver is responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the produce coolers as well as rotation, freshness dating and making sure all of the product that we ordered and were billed for was received.

Requirements

• You have a minimum six months Team Member experience in industry or equivalent.
• You have basic receiving and produce knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of some Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work a variety of retail shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
• Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Model and provide exceptional Guest Service.
• In charge of all back door produce receiving, using available technology and manual receiving processes for all product going in and out of the building.
• Keeping the back door secure, only authorized individuals may enter or exit.
• Uphold Plum Market’s quality & receiving standards.
• Maintain an organized receiving and back of house area, including but not limited to store supply management and receiving dock.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to all safe work practices.
• Effectively communicate with Guests, Team Members and Store Leadership.
