About The Position

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service in accordance with company standards.
• Train, schedule, and supervise production clerks for optimal staffing.
• Manage and achieve department financial budget and goals.
• Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Execute weekly marketing merchandising plans.
• Perform daily inventory and order necessary supplies.
• Forecast weekly sales and track daily purchases.
• Support corporate initiatives through execution.
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing items.
• Inspect code dated items daily for validity.
• Write production department schedule based on sales forecasts.
• Follow Country of Origin produce labeling requirements.
• Examine produce for freshness and remove old stock as needed.
• Inform customers about produce and promote sales.
• Receive produce deliveries and maintain displays.
• Prepare product for sales floor through crisping process.
• Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Manage price accuracy and apply new price tags as needed.
• Clean produce display and back-room areas.
• Transport bag rolls and ties to display areas.
• Inspect floors for debris and perform temperature checks.
