The Produce/Lead Clerk is responsible for creating outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service. This role involves establishing and maintaining a safe, clean, and fresh environment to encourage customer returns. The clerk must achieve sales and profit goals for the department and monitor and control all established quality assurance standards. Key duties include directing and supervising all functions, duties, and activities for the Produce department, as well as supporting its day-to-day operations. The individual is expected to embrace the Customer 1st strategy, encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service, and demonstrate the Company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
