About The Position

Complete a 4-12 week program (internal 4-6, external 8-12) in preparation of being assigned a department manager position. Travel within the division to train and provide relief. Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor/control all established quality assurance standards. Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the department. Support the day-to-day functions of the Produce/Floral operations. Embrace full, fresh & friendly and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).

  • Train department associates on inventory/stocking.
  • Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers.
  • Practice preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Report safety risks or illegal activity.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports.
