  • Make recommendations regarding hiring, firing, and evaluating produce department personnel.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the produce department and preparation areas.
  • Analyze department operations and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Perform all duties as assigned by the store manager and/or supervisor.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Understanding of key components of department operations.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to make quick, intelligent decisions.
  • Experience in produce work or similar experience in food preparation.

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a retail or food service environment.
  • Knowledge of produce and food safety standards.
