About The Position
As a Produce Clerk at Meijer, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. This role is essential in ensuring that our store runs smoothly and that we maintain a positive impact on the community we serve. You will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service, and merchandising, which will allow you to develop your skills and grow within the company. In this position, you will build rapport with customers, displaying a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language. You will respond to customer questions effectively and stock products while maintaining product displays according to merchandising standards. Utilizing technology to complete activities and tasks will be a part of your daily responsibilities, as well as following safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers. This position is applicable to various departments, including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, and Grocery.
