About The Position

To provide excellent customer service while ensuring the quality and freshness of produce, maintaining attractive displays, and contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Requirements

Previous experience in a grocery or similar environment preferred
Ability to handle produce with care
Knowledge of different types of produce
Ability to stock and rotate produce
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Providing friendly and helpful customer service.
Maintaining the quality and freshness of produce through proper handling, storage, and rotation.
Creating and maintaining attractive and visually appealing produce displays.
Stocking and replenishing produce items.
Culling and discarding spoiled or damaged produce.
Ensuring proper sanitation and cleanliness of the produce area.
Assisting with receiving and unloading produce deliveries.
Pricing and labeling produce items accurately.
Following all safety and sanitation procedures.
Management reserves the right to assign additional tasks as necessary to support store operations. Employees will be provided with proper training and protective equipment for any and all assigned tasks that require special handling.
