Produce Clerk – Zuppardo’s Family Market Zuppardo’s Family Market, family owned and operated, has been a staple in the community for over 90 years, providing delicious food, great value, and exceptional service. We are looking for professional, service-oriented Produce Clerks to help us carry on that tradition. Position Summary Produce Clerks are friendly, personable, reliable, energetic, and team-driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask while delivering outstanding customer service.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
- Ability to lift and move moderate weights (produce boxes)
- Ability to work weekends and Holidays
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent, friendly customer service at all times
- Stock, rotate, and maintain fresh fruits and vegetables
- Ensure produce displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Monitor product quality and remove damaged or expired items
- Assist with receiving and unloading deliveries
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support team members with additional tasks as needed
