About The Position

The Produce/Clerk role focuses on creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service and maintaining a safe and clean environment that encourages customer returns. This position assists the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals and monitoring all established quality assurance standards. It requires embracing the Customer 1st strategy and encouraging associates to deliver excellent customer service, while demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Fred Meyer, based in Portland, Oregon, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and proudly serves customers in over 120 stores throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska.
