About The Position
The Produce Clerk assists the Produce Manager in the operation of the produce department, which includes tasks such as ordering, merchandising, rotating product, inventorying merchandise, and ensuring profitability. The clerk is responsible for maintaining the produce case, ensuring it is rotated at all times, and maintaining the overall appearance and eye appeal of the sales floor. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to assist with various administrative tasks related to inventory and bookkeeping.
