About The Position

The Produce/Assistant Department Leader provides leadership support and direction during primetime hours (3p-7p M-F; 11a-7p Sat/Sun) to drive sales and enhance the customer experience. This role involves partnering with the store leader and department leader to foster a high-performance culture, ensuring associates are aligned with business strategy and receive necessary training to deliver excellent customer service. The position also requires demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Fred Meyer, based in Portland, Oregon, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and now serves customers in over 120 stores across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. Responsibilities
