About The Position

As a part of our produce team at Sam's Club, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our members receive quality and fresh food at low cost. Your responsibilities will include making important decisions about the quality of the produce, ensuring availability, cleanliness, and freshness. You will be on the front lines of customer service, enhancing the shopping experience for our members with your positive attitude and commitment to service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
• Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner
• Maintain inventory to prevent out of stock and over-stock products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates on tools and tasks
• Understand processes related to quality of various types of produce merchandise
• Prepare products according to established standards
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
• Utilize perpetual inventory management techniques to stock and rotate products
• Model high-quality service and products in the department
