PRODUCE ASSOCIATE - SPLITS/REPACK
About The Position
Warehouse Produce Associate – Splits/Repack (Full-Time) Location: Brewster, NY Pay: $18.00 /hour (+ Overtime as needed) What You'll Do Split & Repack: Break down bulk produce cases into smaller lots or partials according to order requirements. Repack produce into appropriate packaging while maintaining product quality and appearance. Label repacked items with accurate product details, lot codes, and expiration or pack dates. Retrieve product from coolers and bring it to the split room for processing. Quality Control: Inspect produce for freshness, damage, or spoilage. Remove substandard or spoiled items from inventory. Report quality concerns to supervisors in a timely manner. Inventory & Reporting: Assist with inventory rotation using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices. Take inventory and run necessary reports to track repacked quantities and discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory records and communicate any irregularities. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and warehouse safety protocols What We’re Looking For Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods Comfortable working in cold warehouse environments (35–55°F).
