About The Position

The Produce Clerk is responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to customers. This role involves unpacking products and preparing them for sale, which includes trimming, packaging, weighing, and pricing. The clerk will also replenish the store's stands with fresh products, remove out-of-code items, rotate products, and verify product prices. Maintaining knowledge of all products sold in the department is essential, as is making appropriate signs and arranging displays to consider current sale items. The clerk must also maintain good housekeeping of work, display, and storage areas. Additional responsibilities include pushing and pulling loaded pallets, lifting cases or bags from pallets to counters or storage, assisting in monthly inventories, and performing other duties as assigned. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
