About The Position

Super 1 Foods, a family-owned and operated business founded in 1985, is seeking a Produce Assistant Manager. This role is responsible for managing department inventory, pricing, and merchandising, as well as overseeing the labor and safety of produce employees. The manager will plan, order, and process produce to maximize sales and gross profit. Key duties include ensuring all new employees receive proper training and supervision, maintaining the supply and rotation of fresh, high-quality produce, and ensuring correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage of merchandise, and building of displays. Adherence to strict standards of sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene is mandatory.
