The incumbent will advise management on the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that necessary personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided. This includes scheduling equipment and personnel, confirming material supply and demands, and preparing work orders or purchase requests for components based on master production schedules, shop load, and inventory requirements. The position also requires coordinating interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and traffic, as well as scheduling and expediting the movement of parts using move orders, stock transfers, and shipping order requests.
