About The Position

Alpine Physician Partners has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Procurement & Vendor Management Lead! In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing procurement strategies that ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. You will lead key initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, standardization, and optimization, ultimately building efficiencies in our workflows.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing and/or procurement, with exposure to the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries being a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Proven experience in supplier and vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.

Nice To Haves

Experience in procurement for the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.
Familiarity with Workday, ERP systems, vendor portals, and procurement software.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies and initiatives to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
Lead key initiatives, with cross-functional team collaboration, that focus on process improvement, standardization, optimization and build efficiencies in our workflows
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to interpret forecasts and analyze data to plan purchasing needs for production.
Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts.
Identify and qualify new suppliers to maintain a robust and reliable supply chain.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing suppliers, implementing improvement plans when necessary.
Coordinate with internal commercial and operations teams to align procurement activities with company objectives.
Track market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements.
Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and market conditions.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
