About The Position

The Procurement Systems Analyst position within the Department of Defense is responsible for providing guidance and direction over the evaluation, implementation, and operation of management information and automated business systems. This role involves functional and technical support, training staff on various systems, analyzing data for accuracy, and developing new reporting and analytic tools. The position is available at the GS-11 or GS-12 grade level, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • Experience in analyzing data from multiple systems to identify inadequacies.
  • Experience in developing training on acquisition and contracting related automation systems.
  • Experience in implementing automated business system processes for the Command.
  • Experience in developing analytical tools to improve data reporting accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce.
  • Knowledge of contracting certification requirements.
