About The Position

Interact regularly with members of the Program Management, Strategic Sourcing and Purchasing Operations functions, IT, key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the efficient use of our Procurement Systems. Support maintenance of Procurement systems, in support of Procurement Strategies. High quality assurance for item master, supplier registration, operational contracts, catalogs, budgets and other master data elements in the Procurement Systems. Create User Acceptance test plans, executes testing system break research/resolution. Regulate new items in the Procurement Systems, including, but not limited to, identification of substitute or alternative items. Identify and correct master data issues, maintain standards for master data, and support data conversion efforts. Monitor and update changes to approval tables and regulate user set-ups and access in the Procurement systems. Department user expert and core resource for maintenance, use, and development of the Procurement System(s). Provide end user support and training on the technologies in support of Procurement strategies, and act as primary liaison between the company and the provider (supplier) of the Procurement system/Boyd IT. Manage automated report scheduling and monitor run status. Research, analyze, and resolve system use and errors that occur at the property level. Communicate and coordinate with user departments in order to understand needs and anticipate and resolve issues, ensure customer satisfaction and provide procurement services to meet property needs. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum five (5) years of business experience with emphasis on Systems Support and Master Data Governance.
  • Basic GAP experience and knowledge of perpetual inventory process.
  • Ability to perform system queries, research and interpret data and communicate clearly with internal users and suppliers of the systems.
  • Ability to type 45 WPM.
  • Knowledgeable with data structures, system tables, error messages, and experience in system problem resolution.
  • Organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, within established deadlines and attention to detail, effective listening abilities with strong judgement skills, maintain a professional image and enthusiastic attitude at all times, especially when traveling on business.
  • Excellent customer service skills and problem solving capabilities.
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Extensive knowledge in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint based software applications.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Knowledgeable of financial and Procurement systems.
  • Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Cognos and Stratton Warren.
  • Organization skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
